A Home in Haiti is an organization headed up by Courageous Church in Atlanta (I’m sure there are other people from other places who are working on it….)

Here is the deal, in a little over 2 weeks, the rainy season starts in Haiti.

Sure, we need to get all the rubble bulldozed. We need to get solid houses built for people. But we’ve got 2 weeks.

So buy a tent. Or donate money. Whatever. But do something…

The thing that impresses me most (and makes my anxious to help out in whatever way I can), is that they’re not just going to send tents forever. Tents are only phase 1. “A Home in Haiti” isn’t just about immediate needs, it is about providing immediate help as part of a sustainable solution.
