Here, Isaiah seems to be warning about pursuing “fun” all the time. Now, “fun” isn’t bad, it just isn’t the goal.
Our world holds up FUN as king. Boats, vacations, video games, movies, parties, a summer car, etc. These are then things we work for. These are the reasons we go into debt.
Think back to high school and college. The best thing during those years is that what brings you the most “FUN” and the least amount of work.
